Why do I write?
A friend of mine who has written a long time said if I ask myself this question honestly I will gain insight into my own practice. So I've compiled a short list below. For now, these are my reasons. I hope they'll change as I will. What are your reasons? It's an exercise that has no right or wrong answers and your list can always grow.
I write:
to see
to relax
to think
to escape
to tell
to ask
to discover
to go places
to create
to dream
to open up
to play
to love
to mourn
to die
to hold on
to breathe
to believe
to pronounce
to display
to uncover
to transform
