Subjectivity - 12/14/09

Writing is subjective, my writer friend told me; and so what you may think is crap writing might appeal to someone else. It's the same with any art form, I think. I know it's true. When I took a ceramics class many years ago, a woman bought a vase I had made that I thought was my worst piece. She loved it, however. I have to remember that and not worry so much what others think.
